How the prices work

Real ranges from a real price table

No made-up discounts, no "from £99" teasers. Here's exactly how your range is worked out.
  • One price table

Every range comes from LINX's indicative price table for London and the South East — supplied and installed, including VAT. Updated 11 October 2026.

  • Product, size and tier

We start from the typical price for your product in your chosen brand tier, adjust for size and quantity, then add your options and any access or scaffolding allowance.

  • An honest range

The result is rounded to a range of roughly ±15% — never a single fixed figure, because no two openings or homes are quite the same.

  • Priced for your home

Insulation is priced by property type, so a mid-terrace isn't quoted like a detached house. Blocks and commercial buildings are priced after a survey.

  • Grants and VAT, shown separately

0% VAT applies to insulation, solar, batteries and heat pumps until 31 March 2027 (not windows and doors). Heat pumps also show a figure after the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, depending on eligibility.

  • A survey confirms it

Our surveyor measures everything before anything is ordered, and your written proposal confirms the final price.

Questions

About the quote builder

How accurate is the instant quote?

It's an indicative range from our price table for the products, sizes, tier and options you choose. The final price depends on exact measurements, access and the condition of what's there now — which is why a survey confirms the figure before you commit to anything.

What's the difference between the brand tiers?

Value is REHAU uPVC — white, grey, anthracite and woodgrain foils. Contemporary is SMART or AluK aluminium — slim aluminium, any RAL colour, dual colour. Engineered is Schüco aluminium — large spans, triple glazing, acoustic. Signature slimline is Cortizo Cor Vision — minimal 20–30 mm frames, floor-to-ceiling. The builder only shows the tiers your chosen product is made in.

Do the prices include VAT?

Yes. Insulation, solar panels, batteries and heat pumps installed in homes are zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027. Windows and doors are not included in the relief.

Will I get a grant?

Possibly. Heat pumps show a separate figure after the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, and insulation may be funded through schemes such as ECO4 or Warm Homes: Local Grant — all depending on eligibility. Our 60-second grant checker tells you whether you're likely or possibly eligible.

Is the survey free?

The survey that measures up and confirms your quote is free. Specialist surveys such as heat loss surveys are paid, and the fee is credited against your installation if you go ahead within 90 days.

Can I order supply-only?

Yes, for trade customers. Choose supply only in the Details step for windows, doors and rooflights — we check measurements before anything is ordered.

What happens to my details?

Your quote is saved to one record for your home, so nobody asks you the same questions twice. We only contact you about your quote and you can opt out at any time.
