Off-street parking
You need a driveway or garage. Trailing cables across a pavement isn't recommended and may not be allowed by your council.
Electrical work and certification
New circuits are notifiable electrical work, carried out by a registered competent person or approved by building control and designed to BS 7671. You receive the electrical certificate with your handover pack.
VAT
EV chargers are charged at the standard rate of VAT — the 0% relief covers solar, batteries and heat pumps.
