Overview
Why sliding doors?
Sliding doors give you large panes of glass with very few frames, so the view stays uninterrupted even when they're closed. The panels glide past each other, so they take up no room inside or out.
We fit sliding patio doors in REHAU uPVC (Value), SMART Visoglide or AluK (Contemporary), Schüco ASE (Engineered) and Cortizo Cor Vision slimline (Signature). Prices are for a 3 m patio door and a 4 m slimline slider.
Maximum glass

No swing space
Panels slide, so furniture can sit right up to the glass.

Planning, regulations and timings
New or wider openings
Widening an opening needs a new steel or lintel, structural calculations and Building Regulations approval. Our in-house building team forms the opening and makes good afterwards, so there is no gap between trades.
Building Regulations and certification
Replacement windows and doors must meet Building Regulations for energy efficiency, safety glass, ventilation and fire escape. Each installation is certified through a competent person scheme such as FENSA, or signed off by building control, and the certificate is yours to keep for when you sell.
Survey to installation
Typically 6–8 weeks from survey to installation, agreed with you up front. One named project manager runs your job from survey to sign-off, and our own fitters do the work — we don't subcontract glazing.
